As I am quite certain that you have most likely heard of the recent NFL replacement referee fiasco involving the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers from some sort of news outlet. The most recent and cataclysmic fiasco was the result of miniature Hail Mary pass from Seattle's Russell Wilson intended for his 3rd year wide receiver, Golden Tate. The pass was broken up in the left corner of the Packer endzone and subsequently intercepted by M.D. Jennings, one of the many Packers in the vicinity. The play ,one of the worst decisions by the NFL since they allowed the Black Eyed Peas to perform in the Super Bowl (Have you seen that? It was harder to watch than the Colts last year... haha bad football humor), was ruled a simultaneous catch by both Jennings and Tate. NFL rules state that if a simultaneous catch were to occur between an offensive and defensive player, the ball would be awarded to the offense. According to the rules, Golden Tate should have a touchdown, and referees used this rule as an excuse for the horrid display by the men in stripes. There was no simultaneous catch. The pass was clearly picked off by M.D. Jennings, which would have ended the game at 12-7 Green Bay, but instead, consequently handed last year's 15-1 Packer's their second loss of the season in week 3 (Packer's dropped to 1-2). What makes this even worse is that the play was sent into the booth to be reviewed if that the play was or was not a touchdown. The booth confirmed after further examination that there was no credible evidence that the ball was indeed intercepted, although the interception was clear to the millions watching the game from home, including me. Hopefully this embarrassment will bring an end to the current NFL referee lockout and bring forth quality football back into the lives of the sport's loyal fans.
*Side note: I am extremely happy that the referees handed the win to the Seattle Seahawks. I made a bet that they would win the game against the Packers and against all odds. Fortunately for my sake, the poor refereeing handed the game to Seattle and twenty bucks into my pocket, even though I completely thought the play was horrible and that the Packers should have won. But I'm not complaining :).

Dirty Dan's Bucket List...
1. The Stand - Stephen King: This book happens to be one of Stephen King's more memorable and praised works of literature. I began reading it last year but only made it about half way and I lost my place... So I'm starting over. It is a book in that details the the beginning of a pathogenic apocalypse and the rise of a charismatic dark entity who is bent on bringing misery to all who oppose him.
2. It's a Book - Lane Smith: This epic is dictates the struggle that the children of Generation X cannot seem to understand what the devil a book is. The main story revolves around an elephant who is deep into an interesting novel while some numb skull keeps pestering him with a relentless barrage of idiotic questions that only an imbecile could possibly propose.
3. The Dark Tower I - Stephen King: One of Stephen King's many Dark Tower works and is the first of 8 in the set. From what I have heard and read about the series, it possesses many deeper messages within the texts, some of what people say are biblical messages pertaining to the rise of the anti-christ and so forth.

Jr. & Sr. Years
My junior year was ight. Friends come and go and some turn out to not be your bros. If there's one thing I wish I had more of is time because times running out (school wise of course). Just one year left. Every one of my high school years resides on this one last year. I have made a promise to turn everything around and begin life anew. My senior year will be my legacy in Batesville. Only time will tell if I am able to fulfill this promise, but I can assure only one thing, I'll try my best and my best is pretty dang good.
Call of the Wild review... and what not
Jack London's Call of the Wild is and enjoyable tale about the life of a mix-breed thrown into a chaotic nose dive after being cascaded away from the life of luxury. Our main character, Buck, was once the master of his domain, until he was pluck ed from his kingdom and wisked away to a strange land. Tere he was but a mere peasent in an harsh new reality. He did not understand the laws that presided over this new world but he quickly adapted to his enviorment. Buck rose to the top of his pack nd demanded leadership and was rewarded to the fullest extent. He mastered his new lifestyle until he was sold to a bunch of misfits who wouldn't survive a second in the Alaskan outback. Buck was pushed to the brink of death until he was rescued by his savior, Thorneton. He and Buck established a relationship that Buck never experienced before, love. All was good until thorneton perished. Buck was infuriated and the call of the wild consumed him. Buck became a new member of a wolf pack.
Me and Survival
What is the price of life? There is nothing more valueable that your own life, aside from the lives of others but thats not the point. I would do whatever is necessary to survive when confronted with a life or death situation. I would perform the perilous task of tearing my signature spongebob jammies. Thats a loss no one on earth should ever be forced to experience. I would burn those babies if I had too. Thats a big sacrifice for me.

Anthropomorphism or however you spell that... thingy... its about a cat...
Being The King of my Castle,
I'm always asleep for life is a Hassle.
Even if my peers ideas of me are crass tho.
I do not care for I am a cat, bro.
My peasants appeal to me with affection,
serving and pleasing me with that of perfection.
When enough is enough, I show my objections,
Until they amuse me with their hasty corrections.
The Lord over my Domain,
All the pesky pests are swiftly slain.
When one intrudes over my fearsome reign,
My handy sabers will surely show the pain.
For I am the proud cat,
So pick up the slack
and scratch my back,
or feel the wrath of my kitty attack.
Word.

What is the price of Life?
The responsibility of life is where one is given guidance over another living breathing thing. If something unfortunate were to happen to the lesser being, then the overseer would be held accountable. The member held accountable would face the consequences whether it would be from nature or by law. As for the zeal to survive, when a being is confronted by a life threatening obstacle, every once of ancestral instinct comes in to play and the being attempts every possible method of survival. This will to carry on causes the being to do a variety of abnormal tasks that they would not normally perform such as the severing of a appendage like that in the movie 127 Hours.
